Budgets.......? I now understand more than ever the reasons for budgets!!!

Having spent the majority of my life spending copious amounts of money on what I want and when I want it, I now have to realise the benefits of budgeting and why we shop around to get the most for our money...

Since booking my wedding approximately two months ago for October this year, we have decided to set a realistic budget to keep my spending habits under control. Having to come to terms with cutting back and spending lots of time obtaining quotes from various suppliers, I want to ensure we are getting the best quality products and services for our special day and within our set budget. I now relate this back to my clients and actually realise why it is so important to get the best quality data possible from the start.

This teaches me a very valuable lesson...money is not there to waste and whilst I have always understood the need for budgeting, I have never practised it. Perhaps I thought of it as an excuse in the past for people to waste my time obtaining quotes and counts – not appreciating the actual value of them doing this!

Wanting the very best for my wedding and the most for my money, I appreciate the need for people to shop around. I realise the importance of having a budget and certainly realise that clients too, want to get the most for their money and the best quality data available!
