To celebrate the first birthday of Britain’s Voice, our online questionnaire and lead generation site, we’ve taken a look back to see how it has evolved over the past 12 months.
The first online customers were often those who already bought data from our telephone surveys, so immediately the quality was being assessed against the high standards already set by that of the more established telephone data. It speaks volumes about the calibre of the online data that, even in its infancy, it was able to compete and we’ve grown so much since then.
At our peak we’ve sent out well over 70,000 leads in a single month, to clients sponsoring hundreds of unique questions ranging from charities to travel brochures. Our busiest times have seen 2,500 site visits a day, and we can expect to gather 20 times the number of surveys now than we did in those formative months.
Such is the performance of the data that we have clients who request both the positive and negative responses their questions. Others have sponsored multiple questions uninterrupted for almost the entire year we have been live. Over two thirds of the questions currently sponsored are with clients who have been with us for over 6 months, a fantastic sign of how well the data is performing. This is demonstrated by the conversion rates of the leads, averaging 7.2% with one client over the life of their campaign.
There are a number of reasons for this growth, not least of which being the unique qualities that have allowed the online survey to stand tall on its own merits. Features like Hotleads, which provide live lead delivery straight to the client, ensuring the best possible response and conversion rates.
Many companies seeking to reduce expenditure email provides an alternative to the more usual and more expensive postal and telephone campaigns, and presents the best way of driving directed traffic to a client’s web site. Online also has access to a younger and inherently more tech-savvy user base than telephone, thus allowing specific sectors of the population to be targeted for a clients campaign.
As Britain’s Voice continues to grow in the year ahead we aim to work hard to improve it’s performance and maintain the fantastic conversion rates that our clients are enjoying.

Our week long exhibition at the IDMF went down a storm. The Data Partnership big red bus drew the crowds and boosted our presence at the show making it a great success. We caused such a stir that we featured on the front page on the show magazine and forged new client relationships as well as strengthening existing corporate links.
